GFM Employee Benefits
In addition to competitive salaries, Genesis Financial Management (GFM) offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees and their families. Our health, disability, and life insurance plans can assist you with your needs today, while helping you plan for tomorrow. We currently offer the following benefits to eligible employees:
Medical Coverage
GFM covers 100% of the cost of health insurance premiums for full-time employees. Eligible dependents may also enroll - employee contribution applies. The Medical Plan is a preferred-provider-organization (PPO) plan with annual deductibles and coinsurance. The plan offers limited out-of-pocket expenses when using in-network providers, plus the opportunity to choose any licensed out-of-network provider with higher out-of-pocket expenses. If you have medical coverage elsewhere, you may choose no coverage. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. Contributions are made on a before-tax basis through the GFM's Section 125 Plan.
Dental Coverage
Full-time employees are eligible for dental coverage. Eligible dependents may also enroll - employee contribution applies. Our PPO option provides an annual benefit of up to $1,500 for covered charges per member. Orthodontic benefits are available for dependent children under eighteen years of age, and are subject to a lifetime maximum of $1,000. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. Contributions are made on a before-tax basis through the GFM's Section 125 Plan.
Vision Care Coverage
The Vision Care Plan offers the opportunity to select vision care coverage, which includes an annual eye exam and eyewear. You may receive an annual spectacle eye exam or annual contact lens exam at participating providers. Specially discounted glasses and contacts may also be purchased. Savings on laser vision correction are also offered. Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. Contributions are made on a before-tax basis through the GFM's Section 125 Plan. The company offers this coverage to full-time employees at no cost.
Disability Insurance
Full-time employees participate in the company's Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan. LTD benefits are payable after the 26th week of disability, subject to pre-existing condition exclusions. Benefits coordinate with Social Security and certain other benefits for which you are eligible. The company covers all premium costs for this coverage.
Life Insurance
The company provides one time Basic Annual Earnings of life insurance at no cost to all full-time employees. The coverage is for term life, and the life insurance benefit is payable to the designated beneficiary upon the death of the insured. GFM also provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) to full-time employees at no cost.
Optional Life Insurance
The Life Insurance Plan provides coverage options of up to five times annual salary for full-time employees. Coverage amounts are based on your annual salary at a given point in time, and are rounded to the nearest $1,000.
Dependent Life Insurance
You pay 100% of the cost of this coverage, at age-related rates, on an after-tax basis. We offer benefit options in $5,000 increments to a maximum of $100,000, not to exceed 50% of the employee's selected level of coverage. Dependent child coverage is also available.
401(k)
GFM has established a 401(k) program for which an employee is eligible to participate after one year of service. Our plan offers participation in a 401(k) savings plan that provides a 50% match of the 1st 4% of pay contributions.
Paid Time Off
This employee-focused program allows flexibility to use your time off (except company holidays) for any reason you'd like.
