College Funding Calculator

Start planning for your kid's college tuition today using our college savings calculator!

Our college tuition calculator will assist parents in identifying how much money they will need to begin investing today in order to meet the future tuition requirements for their children's education. Parents can choose between: In-State or Out-of-State factors; On Campus housing or Commuter Status factors; and between Public University or Private University factors. Selections will adjust the estimated savings requirement according to the choices made. Our college tuition funding calculator even lets you adjust future costs by factoring in your estimated annual rate of inflation.

College Funding Calculator

Projected Total Four-Year Costs of Attending College: Four-year costs are based on The College Board's Annual Survey of Colleges for the 2007-2008 school year and include tuition, room and board (adjusted by "resident"/"commuter" selection), transportation, books, and other expenses. The costs are enrollment-weighted and inflated based upon your selected estimated annual rate of inflation. An 8% annual return on investment is assumed but does not represent a specific security. The calculator also assumes no additional investments or earnings once the child starts school and that investments are made at the beginning of each school year.
